Vineyard and Harvest:
The grapes for this wine were sourced from a single vineyard in Stellenbosch, known for its ideal grape-growing conditions. Emphasizing quality and character, the vines are carefully trellised and the grapes are hand-harvested in individual bins at the optimal time to ensure the highest quality from vine to bottle.

Winemaking:
In the cellar, the grapes underwent natural fermentation to preserve the intrinsic flavors of the Cabernet Sauvignon. Post-fermentation, the wine was aged for 20 months in French oak barrels, utilizing a combination of 225 L and 300 L barrels. The use of 18% new oak, with the remainder consisting of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th fill barrels, subtly enhances the wine’s structure and complexity without overwhelming the natural fruit flavors.

The Winshaw The Fox displays a rich ruby color and offers a medium to full-bodied experience on the palate.
