This is a single vineyard wine, reflecting the best terroir of the Ormonde Estate and showcasing the oldest vineyards dating back to the early 1970’s.
This vibrant wine showcase the white pepper and smoked jacket aromas we celebrate from our unique terroir. Although still young the wine appeals with smooth mouth feel and beautiful rich dark fruit.
Aged for 12 months in 2nd and 3rd fill French Oak barrels with a medium toast.
Juicy, chargrilled Rib eye steak – on the fattier side – served with Wild Mushroom and Cream sauce.
The windy conditions on our estate leads to a small canopy, focusing the plants energy onto the grapes. Beautiful old vines diligently ripen the grapes to produce the different flavours.
