Asara – Vineyard Collection Pinotage Rosé

Grapes are harvested in two separate batches during the cool early mornings: the first at 21°B to retain crisp acidity and the second at 22.5°B for delicate fruit flavours and subtle colour. The grapes are gently pressed using a pneumatic press to avoid excessive colour extraction. Fermentation takes place at a low temperature of 12°C to preserve the wine’s freshness and aromatic purity. After blending, the wine is left on its lees, with weekly stirring to develop texture and balance. A careful selection of two yeast strains enhances the expression of vibrant red berry fruit, while the slow fermentation contributes to a layered, velvety finish.

This fresh, delicate Pinotage Rosé offers a silky, creamy texture with bright aromas of watermelon and grapefruit. The palate is refined, showcasing luscious fruit flavours balanced by vibrant freshness and a crisp finish.
